ACIDIC BODY - Source of Illness in Modern Times
Normal healthy blood exhibits a slightly weak alkaline tendency. Its pH value is around 7.35 to 7.45. In general, newborns also exhibit a weak alkaline body fluid. As we got involved in environmental pollutions, maintained an abnormal eating, drinking and living style, our body gradually turned into acidic tendency.
In metropolis with a higher living standard, 80% of its residents often exhibit a lower pH body fluid which manifests an acidic body.
A more acidic body fluid makes weaker cell functions, slows down metabolism. Waste tends to stay in the body longer, making liver and kidney organs work harder. This makes people with acidic bodies feeling tired, losing memories, waist sore, leg pains, weak limbs, dizzy, ear noises, light sleep, insomnia, diarrhea, constipations. Checking at hospitals report don’t show anything significant. If we don’t pay attention to improve the situation, continuing our way of life as before will eventually get us into trouble in a form of disease.
One well-known Japanese MD Liuzhe had made an empirical study: he found 100 cancer patients. He took their blood test. All of their blood exhibited acidic nature. It was said that 85% of gout, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and cancer patients.
Therefore, these medical doctors think that human body’s acidic nature is: “the source of hundred illnesses”
Acidic causing illnesses can be categorized into four categories:
- Combination of strong acid and alkaline metal like calcium or magnesium results in salts. This makes solid acids which causes osteoarthritis and related illness
- Combination of strong acid and acidic salts deposit in joints or organs. This produces respective inflammation which causes artery hardening, kidney stones, joint inflammation, and gout, etc.
- Piling up of acidic wastes blocks caterpillar blood vessels. It results in poor circulation and easily produces diabetic or sugary urine, kidney inflammation, and various cancers.
- Too much acid in pathways along stomach and intestines easily causes constipation, chronic diarrhea, and uric acids. Too much stomach acid easily causes heart burns, acid reflux, and stomach ulcers.
Besides, acidic body influences mental growth of a child.

- Unreasonable dietary structure -
Experts point out that ideal acid vs. alkaline ratio for dietary habit is 1:3. Our modern diet usually consists of finely polished white rice, white flour, chicken, duck, fish, meat, and eggs. All of these are acidic in nature. If our diet based on these for a long time, our dietary habit ratio is 3:1 instead. Long term ingestion of more acidic food is the most important reason that causes our body to turn acidic.
- Insufficient exercises -
Exercise under the sun makes us sweat. This helps us expel extra acidic waste. However, most of us drive in cars instead of walking, significantly reducing our exercising opportunities. After a while, acidic wastes stay in our bodies longer, making our bodies more acidic.
- Too much stress -
Modern tempo quickens everyone’s daily rhythms. Living, working, and emotions all bear levels of pressure. When pressure does not get a release, it makes our bodies acidic.
- Less than ideal habits -
Smoking, drinking are typical acidic. Smoking and drinking without controls easily get acidic body.

To own up a healthy body, proper exercise routines and good dietary habits are must-have’s. On a day to day basis, do more oxygenic exercises, train our bodies to be in shape, maintain good life styles and be positive, open minded, progressive attitude. The most funda'ental one is to improve our diet. Simply eat more alkaline food, less acidic food, can improve internal acidic environment.
