Appointments
We make every effort to remain on schedule. We believe that respect between patient and practitioner includes respect for each other's time.  If you are late, your remaining time may not be sufficient for a full treatment, and treatment will be tailored to fit within the time available. On occasion, there are situations that arise that cause us to run over. If we are late, it will not affect the time of your treatment. If you have time constraints, please let us know.

It is recommended that you wear loose fitting clothing to appointments so that you will be comfortable and acupuncture points will be accessible. You may want to bring a pair of shorts with you to change into for the treatment.

After a regular acupuncture treatment, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water. Having an acupuncture treatment is running your energy, blood, and lymphatic systems. You are expected to feel relaxed and a little tired, just like right after running 3 miles or working out at a gym. Your body needs replenishment of lots of water and, for some people or sometimes, rest. Be sure to take care and listen to your body's needs.

Cancellation Policy
This clinic requires a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. If you have missed or rescheduled an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, you will be responsible for 50% of the charge of the clinic visit. In cases of acts of nature, such as snowstorms or other severe weather, or of family illness, I waive my cancellation policy. If you miss your appointment without calling in advance, or if you cancel, at the last minute (within 3 hours of your appointment), you will be responsible for paying the full cost of the treatment you missed.
Late Arrivals
I understand that occasionally unforeseen circumstances arise that prevent you from being on time to a scheduled appointment. I unfortunately have time constraints that do not allow for patients to be more than 20 minutes late. If you find that you are running late, please call the clinic to avoid making an unnecessary trip. If possible, I will make every effort to accommodate your circumstances.

Payment and Insurance:This clinic is set up for direct pay. I do not bill insurance companies but are happy to provide you with the statement you may need to submit for reimbursement. I ask that you pay at the time that services are rendered. Checks and cash are acceptable forms of payment.
